The Application Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining applications across multiple system environments. This role involves working with various technologies and platforms to develop robust solutions that meet business requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of software development practices, system architecture, and modern application frameworks. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse tools, technologies, and environments, including front-end, back-end, and middleware components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications across multiple system environments.
- Analyze business models, logical specifications, and user requirements to develop effective solutions.
- Combine multiple technologies to deliver optimal system designs and application performance.
- Ensure the stability, security, and scalability of applications and their environments.
- Participate in tool evaluation efforts, including defining evaluation criteria and conducting assessments.
- Work on various platforms including mainframes, mini, and micro systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development and deployment initiatives.
- Interact with and manage relationships with product vendors and suppliers when required.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend appropriate adoption.
Required Skills:
- Experience in designing, developing, and testing applications in multiple system environments.
- Strong understanding of application architecture and software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Ability to work across different tiers of application systems – front-end, middle-tier, and back-end.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
