Job summary

University of Florida Information Technology is seeking an entry-level IT Application Developer I to join the Applications, Development and Integrations team in Gainesville. You will participate in the full software development life cycle, meet with customers, analyze requirements, propose ERP solutions, and develop and test code to support enterprise processes.

The role emphasizes SQL/database design, object-oriented programming, and teamwork within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent w/ 2 yrs relevant experience; college coursework or technical training may substitute for the required experience.
• Must have basic programming experience and SQL knowledge; able to design relational databases and queries.
• Experience with ERP related applications and enterprise systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet with analysts to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements.
• Devise and propose solutions for new projects and enhancements to ERP systems.
• Develop and test code, ensuring ERP system integrity and performant SQL.
