Job summary

Watershed Security is seeking a Journeyman ISSE to support NSWC in Philadelphia. The candidate will coordinate security changes, perform vulnerability assessments, and lead incident response to protect information systems. Must be US citizen with Top Secret clearance and Navy RMF experience.

Onsite Philadelphia work is required with possible travel. Competitive salary with benefits is offered, including medical, dental, 401K matching, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent.
• At least one of the listed active certifications (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).
• 3 years practical cybersecurity or A&A related experience.
• US Citizenship with Top Secret clearance.
• Onsite support in Philadelphia, PA possible; some travel may be required.
• Experience with Navy RMF process and A&A tools (ACAS, eMASS, eMASSter).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; able to brief senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and enact required security changes and ensure compliance with policies.
• Conduct cybersecurity vulnerability and threat assessments to mitigate risk.
• Lead cyber-incident response; isolate affected systems, investigate, and report findings.
• Provide guidance on best practices and security posture improvements.
• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for sensitive data.
• Support continuous monitoring and provide status reports on security compliance.
