Job summary

Noblis is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineering (ISSE) professional for a long-term, on-site role at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. The position supports Navy systems security engineering, RMF, and NIST compliance.

Candidates must be a US citizen with an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or nine years of equivalent IT security experience), travel at least 10%, and on-site work 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Systems Security Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or nine years of equivalent experience.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• US citizenship and valid US passport or ability to obtain one.
• Recognized security certifications: CompTIA Security+, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP.
• Willingness to obtain OS certification within 90 days of hire (MD-102 or AZ-104).
• Travel at least 10% of the time and on-site workload at LBES for at least 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design secure systems, networks, and architectures.
• Install and configure secure hardware and software, maintaining infrastructure.
• Conduct regular security audits and ensure patches are up to date.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot security issues.
• Manage user accounts and access to systems.
• Perform data backups and disaster recovery procedures.
• Assess compliance against NIST, DoD, Navy requirements including RMF and STIGs.
• Develop security policies and lifecycle documentation (SEP, SSP, SECONOP, Risk Assessments).
• Coordinate with SMEs to develop authorization boundary diagrams and inventories.
