Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Systems Security Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Alternative: High School Diploma with at least nine years of IT experience on similar scope.
• Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• US citizenship and valid US passport or ability to obtain.
• Security certifications: CompTIA Security+, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP.
• OS certification within 90 days of hire (MD-102 or AZ-104).
• Travel at least 10% of the time and on-site workload at LBES for 50%+ time.

Responsibilities

• Support lifecycle cybersecurity for US Navy systems and ensure secure, reliable operations.
• Perform risk management and RMF/NIST compliance activities.
• Develop and maintain program documentation (SEP, Technical Plans, Analyses, Reports).
• Coordinate with SMEs to identify authorization boundaries, architecture diagrams, and inventories.
• Conduct security audits and patch management to keep systems up-to-date.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for security issues as they arise.
