Job summary

Watershed Security, a Veteran Owned Small Business, seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Officer to support NSWC in Philadelphia, PA. The role emphasizes coordinating security changes, policy compliance, and incident response across levels.

The candidate will perform vulnerability assessments, lead cyber-incident handling, and advise on security posture improvements. Onsite work with possible remote options, US citizenship and TS clearance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent; US citizen with TS clearance.
• Active certifications such as CCNA-Security, CySA+, GSEC, or Security+ CE preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of practical cybersecurity/A&A experience.
• Ability to implement security changes and ensure policy compliance across levels.
• Experience leading cyber-incident response and data collection.
• Knowledge of RMF processes, Navy tools, and security reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and enact required security changes across organizational levels.
• Conduct vulnerability and threat assessments to mitigate information risks.
• Lead cyber-incident response including isolation and investigations.
• Provide guidance on security best practices and posture improvements.
• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support continuous monitoring and provide status reports to leadership.
