Job summary

Artemest is seeking a Junior Interior Designer & Gallery Assistant in New York to support daily gallery operations and assist with interior design services for private clients and trade partners.

You will help with FF&E selections, mood boards, layouts, and product choices while coordinating with Milan headquarters for samples and lead times. Ideal for a recent graduate aiming to grow in a luxury design environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Interior Design or related field, or in progress.
• 0–2 years in interior design, gallery, luxury brand, or design studio.
• Strong interest in interior design services, FF&E, galleries, and art/design world.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with design software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day gallery operations and ensure a polished luxury experience for visitors.
• Assist with gallery maintenance, organization, and sample room management.
• Welcome clients, designers, architects, and trade partners, guiding them through Artemest's collections and services.
• Assist in development of interior design and FF&E packages for private clients and trade partners.
• Coordinate with Milan HQ for samples, lead times, and bespoke requests.
• Support client meetings, presentations, and proposals.
