Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to support the Space Force Range Contract's Integration Engineering department. You will lead subsystem efforts, manage risks, and help transition third-party systems into SFRC OM&S baselines within a dynamic DoD environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with government customers, development of acquisition documentation (SOO, SOW, PWS), and participation in ROMBs and risk management activities, ensuring conformance to SFRC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, MIS, or related STEM.
• 0–2 years systems engineering experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of the engineering lifecycle and SE processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead Systems Engineer for assigned LTRS subsystem(s) under guidance of senior staff.
• Assist in developing out-year plans and data for Government funding inputs.
• Provide project integration support from contract award through transition of TPD systems.
