Amentum is seeking an Engineering Project Management Senior to support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC) in Florida. This role leads large government initiatives, defining scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables while coordinating with stakeholders and mentoring other project managers.

The position emphasizes risk mitigation, change management, and proactive communication with customers to ensure successful program execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields.
• 8+ years of project management experience; engineering PM preferred.
• Experience with Catalyst or similar PM methodologies and budgeting concepts.
• Experience aligning with client objectives and critical success factors.
• Experience with delivery assurance principles and procedures.
• Experience with architecture, development, integration, and deployment of project phases.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, schedules, budgets, objectives, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Document baselines and decompose complex work into manageable tasks.
• Identify resources and coordinate with staff to ensure timely completion and clear communication.
• Monitor project status and escalate risks, schedule delays, or budget overages.
• Identify risks and opportunities; implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage change orders affecting scope, cost, and schedule.
