Job summary

Carollo Engineers, a leading water-focused engineering firm, is seeking an Instrumentation and Control Engineer to contribute to water and wastewater projects in Phoenix. You will work on developing P&IDs, control networks, and associated documentation under supervision.

The role emphasizes collaboration within a project team, learning best practices, and applying standard design approaches to ensure practical, connected solutions for clients in the water sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• 0-4 years of experience in instrumentation and control for water/wastewater facilities.
• EIT or FE license or within 1 year of employment.
• Familiarity with P&ID, control schematics, and communication networks.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic instrumentation and control system engineering tasks under supervision.
• Assist in developing P&IDs and associated I/O; manipulate P&ID databases.
• Perform basic CADD drafting and submittal review.
• Research specifications and assist in technical memoranda development.
• Contribute to control system design and development of control networks.
• Support project team with organization, communication, and planning.
