Job summary

Carollo Engineers, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Instrumentation and Control Engineer to support water and wastewater facility projects. The role involves learning and applying basic I&C engineering tasks, developing P&IDs, and contributing to control network designs.

The position emphasizes collaboration with senior engineers, CADD technicians, and field inspectors, with opportunities to grow in a leading water-focused firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in electrical, instrumentation and control, mechanical, or chemical engineering.
• 0–4 years of experience in the field.
• Experience in start-up of instrumentation and control systems for water and wastewater facilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic instrumentation and control system engineering tasks for water and wastewater facilities under supervision.
• Assists in development of P&IDs and associated I/O.
• P&ID database manipulation and basic CADD drafting.
• Submittal review and specification research.
• Develops portions of technical memoranda and specifications.
• Contributes to control systems designs and development of control networks.
• Maintains professional relationships with project team members.
• Liaises with supervisor to complete routine tasks.
