Job summary

White Cap is seeking a motivated, entry-level Customer Service / Sales Associate to provide dependable service through accurate order entry, basic pricing, and secure payment handling. The role supports multi-channel order processing, payment security, and product recommendations.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma (or GED) with 0–2 years of experience, strong attention to detail, and effective communication with customers and teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Customer service and sales experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transactional tasks.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Processes orders across multiple channels, including phone, email, text, and counter, accurately and promptly.
• Handles payments securely, including credit card, check, and cash transactions.
• Identifies stock products and recommends comparable alternatives.
• Maintains margin goals within established pricing guidelines.
• Coordinates with team members to ensure service commitments are met.
