Job summary

PD Instore is seeking a Junior Industrial Designer to join the Tech Lab. You will help develop innovative solutions for retail fixtures, prototype concepts, and future retail technologies, working with engineering and creative technologists to bring ideas to life.

You will sketch, model, render, and test concepts, exploring new materials and manufacturing methods while supporting multiple projects and maintaining design documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 0–3 years in industrial design, product development, or prototyping as described in the posting.
• Portfolio showing design process, prototypes, and problem-solving required.

Responsibilities

• Design creative solutions for custom retail fixtures and product enhancements.
• Produce sketches, CAD models, renderings, mockups, and prototypes to communicate concepts.
• Experiment with materials, technologies, and manufacturing methods.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure functionality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
• Build and test physical prototypes using 3D printers, CNC, and lab tools.
