Qualifications

• BA/BS in Industrial Design or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 internship experiences in an industrial design role supporting high priority work.
• Experience in a design consultancy or corporate design environment.
• Strong ability to think critically and synthesize information.
• Solid understanding of human-centered design process.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with demanding deadlines.
• Curious, kind, and willing to challenge yourself and others.
• Willing to go beyond the described job title.
• Passionate about solving relevant problems with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create product solutions with strong aesthetic merit and brand identity.
• Develop form that captures client tone while introducing uniqueness.
• Demonstrate broad technical skills: CAD (SolidWorks), sketching, color/materials, rapid sketching, prototyping, and visualization (KeyShot).
• Develop high-complexity 3D digital surface models that are aesthetically and technically solid.
• Lead development of new product concepts delivering value and client goals.
• Combine design methods to address client challenges using consumer insights and brand identity.
• Innovate with manufacturing considerations: materials, construction, mechanisms, color, and finish.
• Monitor the work of other designers to determine best practices and tools.
• Manage projects, deliverables, and client expectations effectively.
