Job summary

Spectrum Brands is seeking a New Product Industrial Designer to join the Home & Garden R&D team. The designer translates consumer needs into innovative products, working with engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and other functions to prototype and refine new delivery systems.

The role requires strong knowledge of industrial design processes, usability, ergonomics, and design-for-manufacturing. It offers a hybrid work arrangement with opportunities to contribute to AI-driven ideation and rapid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design.
• 4+ years of experience in industrial design.
• 3+ years in hard goods design execution.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, KeyShot, Adobe Creative Suite, Acrobat Pro, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Understand consumer insights and extrapolate to develop new, unique experiences and products.
• Drive consumer-led innovation within the organization.
• Collaborate with Marketing, New Product Development, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to develop opportunities.
• Develop concepts focusing on ergonomics, form, and function for hard and packaged goods.
