Job summary

You will develop concepts, build sketches, 3D CAD models, renderings, and production drawings while collaborating with sales, customers, and manufacturing partners.

You will prototype, evaluate, and refine designs with a focus on manufacturability, materials, branding, and installation considerations to deliver compelling, durable displays.

Qualifications

• Professional industrial design experience with physical products or displays.
• Strong fundamentals in form, proportion, materials and usability.
• Strong concept development and visualization skills.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD and rendering tools (SolidWorks, Rhino, KeyShot).
• Understanding of design for manufacturing and materials constraints.
• Ability to communicate design intent through drawings and specs.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, fabricators, manufacturers, or vendors.
• Portfolio showing how ideas become manufacturable products.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts for retail displays, fixtures, and merchandising solutions.
• Turn objectives or rough ideas into thoughtful designs.
• Create sketches, 3D CAD models, and renderings communicating concept and function.
• Apply branding and materials to create realistic presentations.
• Design with manufacturing in mind: materials, processes, cost, assembly, shipping, durability.
• Produce drawings, models, prototypes, and specifications for production.
• Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and manufacturing partners.
• Assist in prototyping, testing, and iterating designs.
• Respond to feedback and production challenges promptly.
• Contribute ideas proactively beyond assigned tasks.
