MIL Corporation seeks a Junior Compliance Officer (Operations, Jr. Analyst) in San Diego, CA to support I-9 audit and worksite enforcement compliance. You will review employment eligibility docs, research identities, and prepare audit-ready case files for enforcement actions.

On-site schedule with 8-hour shifts, potential overtime, and no telework. Ideal for early-career professionals in federal compliance, with training in information security, privacy, and records management.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of accurate data entry experience.
• Ability to follow procedures and document findings clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication for government tasking.

Responsibilities

• Input, validate, and update case data from employment eligibility documents.
• Use DHS/ICE systems and databases to run queries and document results.
• Assist Auditors/Investigators in evaluating I-9 forms and related records.
• Draft audit workpapers, memos, and Notices of Intent to Fine or other enforcement docs.
• Coordinate case activities with investigators and team members to ensure timely completion.
• Prepare and maintain audit-ready case files in electronic and hard-copy formats.
• Perform routine admin functions to ensure compliance with government property, time, attendance, and access procedures.
• Follow DHS/ICE policies on privacy, records management, and information assurance.
• Participate in training on information security, records management, and privacy.
