Job summary

GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. in Brookfield, WI is seeking an Entry Level Hydrogeologist/Engineer to work on diverse projects under seasoned mentors. You will participate in drilling oversight, groundwater sampling, site investigations, and data analysis while developing practical field and office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Geochemistry, Environmental Eng, Civil Eng or related field required. Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tasks and assist with project execution, including drilling oversight, groundwater and soil sampling, vapor sampling, data reduction, and stakeholder communications.
• Conduct and prepare site designs, Phase II ESAs, and develop recommendations.
• Prepare site checklists for investigation and remedial activities to NR 716/726.
• Assist with construction/remediation documents including drawings, specs, and cost estimates.
• Perform well pump tests and collect data using transducers.
• Conduct field and office QA/QC responsibilities.
• May assist on projects outside primary duties in a One Company environment.
