Job summary

GZA’s Brookfield, Wisconsin office has an opening for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to execute projects across foundations, slopes, ground improvement and other geotechnical disciplines. You will represent the firm with clients through proposals, contracts and project performance, while leading technical/financial tasks and mentoring staff.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering (Master’s preferred), 10+ years’ experience, a P.E., and strong communication and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience since graduation.
• P.E. license.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Experience with project management and client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and manage day-to-day technical and financial activities.
• Represent the firm with clients during proposals, contracts, and project performance phases.
• Provide business development support and marketing assistance.
• Mentor and develop staff; ensure adherence to budgets and schedules.
• Prepare and review geotechnical reports with Principal guidance.
