Job summary

Schnabel is seeking an Entry-Level Civil Engineer at the Longmont, Colorado office with an interest in hydraulics and hydrology and water resources engineering. You will work on dam and water resources projects in a collaborative team setting, learning from experienced professionals while contributing to project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to perform office and field work and learn on the job.
• 0–2 years of related water resources or hydraulic engineering experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydraulic and hydrologic analyses for water resources and dam projects.
• Develop computer models, reports, drawings, and technical documentation under supervision.
• Participate in field investigations, inspections, and data collection.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery.
• Assist with proposals, technical research, and other project activities.
• Continue developing technical expertise through mentoring and hands-on experience.
