Job summary

Liberty Mechanical is seeking a motivated Junior HVAC Service Technician to join our team. You will work with experienced technicians on maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and installations for residential and commercial systems while building hands-on skills.

We offer hourly wages from $25 to $35 based on experience, 40 hours weekly, paid holidays and time off, disability insurance, 401k match, company cellphone, and paid training with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC trade school graduate or 0–2 years HVAC experience preferred.
• EPA Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with HVAC maintenance, repairs, service calls, and installations for residential and commercial customers.
• Perform preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic HVAC components under supervision.
• Complete basic repairs and maintenance tasks as skills develop.
• Deliver excellent customer service and communicate professionally with customers.
• Work with dispatch to ensure efficient scheduling and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and keep company vehicles organized.
• Complete paperwork and service reports accurately and on time.
• Follow all safety policies and industry best practices.
• Participate in ongoing training and career advancement opportunities.

What you’ll do
