Job summary

Albemarle Heating & Air is seeking a Junior HVAC Estimator to join our Residential New Construction (NCR) team. The role focuses on estimating, project coordination, and administrative support for residential design-build projects, with mentorship from the NCR Manager and Senior Designer & Estimator.

The position involves preparing estimates, reviewing plans, and performing plan takeoffs. Opportunities to learn HVAC design exist while supporting day-to-day NCR operations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years HVAC installation or estimating experience.
• High School Diploma or GED; EPA certification a plus.
• Strong reading and writing in English; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing accurate estimates for residential new construction.
• Review plans and specifications to gather estimating data.
• Perform digital plan takeoffs using Bluebeam Revu.
• Enter estimates and project data in ServiceTitan.
• Support NCR Manager and Senior Designer & Estimator.
• Coordinate with builders, vendors, and internal teams.
• Maintain project files and estimating records.
• Provide general administrative support to NCR.
• Assist with HVAC system layouts and design tasks as trained.
