Ridge Mechanical LLC is a growing commercial HVAC and plumbing contractor serving North Carolina. We are seeking an experienced Estimator to review drawings, perform detailed takeoffs, and develop cost estimates for bids and proposals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC estimating, mechanical construction, or related industry experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, controls, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience preparing detailed HVAC takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings, specifications, addenda, and bid documents.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for ducts, equipment, piping, and controls.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Develop accurate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed bid proposals, scope letters, and budget pricing.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as required.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and alternate solutions.
