• 1–2 years of HVAC industry experience or servicing electronic/mechanical systems.
• PC proficiency and the ability to program HVAC software.
• Able to use hand and power tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for customers and colleagues.
• Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
• Leadership to support mechanics on non-complex building automation work.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and tools.
• Troubleshoot basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems.
• Respond to basic warranty calls.
• Load system-level controller software.
• Complete commissioning documentation and as-built records.
• Keep stakeholders informed of progress and issues.
• Calibrate systems requiring basic electronic test equipment.
• Complete on-site administrative tasks (time sheets, expenses).
• Document changes for as-built documentation.
• Communicate arrival/departure with customers on site.
• Adhere to safety standards and safety training.
