Qualifications

• HVAC license or a 2-year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field.
• Minimum of 2 years related working experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.
• Knowledge of HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills to represent Johnson Controls professionally to customers and contacts.
• Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people; leadership to support activities on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Load system-level controller software and perform basic commissioning.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls issues; respond to warranty calls.
• Keep customer and management informed of progress; provide on-site documentation.
• Calibrate systems with basic electronic test equipment and complete required documentation.
• Provide quotes and recommendations to improve facility efficiency and upsell where appropriate.
