Job summary

Johnson Controls, a global leader in HVAC and building systems, seeks a skilled technician to perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools. You will troubleshoot basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems, respond to warranty calls, and deliver high‑level service to customers on site.

You will load system‑level software, run diagnostics from controllers to sensors, document all commissioning steps, and keep customers informed.

Qualifications

• Vocational program or associate degree in electronics/mechanical/HVAC with 3+ years of experience.
• Extensive BAS skillsets.
• Knowledge of HVAC controls systems and facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls tools and diagnose basic HVAC issues.
• Load controller software, calibrate to sensors and actuators, and complete commissioning documentation.
• Document progress and communicate with customers and contractors on-site.
• Provide recommendations and quotes to improve facility efficiency while following safety standards.
