Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time contract in Ohio, working with junior high students onsite. The assignment runs now through October 6, 2026, offering a supportive team and a caseload tailored to each student’s communication needs.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication; collaborate with teachers and families; and develop IEPs in line with state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio SLP license is required.
• Experience in school settings or a strong desire to work in a junior high setting.
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation.
• Strong collaboration skills with educators, families, and related service providers.
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop intervention plans for a diverse student population.
• Comfort conducting therapy sessions individually and in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy to junior high students addressing articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support academic success and foster an inclusive educational environment.
• Develop, update, and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Participate in meetings and provide input on student progress and needs.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of services and student progress.
• Serve as a resource for staff and families to support effective communication strategies.
