Job summary

Lebanon School District in Lebanon, PA is seeking an experienced Junior High School Principal to provide instructional leadership and foster a positive learning environment. You will lead curriculum planning, supervise staff, and oversee school operations to ensure student achievement.

You will promote safety, coordinate professional development, manage the budget, and collaborate with families and community partners to support school goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years teaching experience
• Three years administrative or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience in urban schools preferred
• Demonstrated understanding of educational best practices

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum planning, implementation, and instructional improvement
• Supervise, evaluate, and support building staff
• Participate in selection and training of school personnel
• Develop and implement programs to meet student and school needs
• Oversee PBIS, student activities, and behavioral procedures
• Develop master schedule addressing student needs and resource use
• Prepare and administer the school budget
• Maintain building records and required documentation
• Implement Board/state policy changes
• Lead professional development and school planning
• Maintain relationships with families and community partners
• Support professional growth of staff and self
