Job summary

Lebanon School District in Lebanon, PA is seeking an experienced Junior High School Principal to provide instructional leadership and foster a positive learning environment. You will lead curriculum planning, supervise staff, and oversee school operations to ensure student achievement.

You will promote safety, coordinate professional development, manage the budget, and collaborate with families and community partners to support school goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years teaching experience

We’re seeking an experienced and student-centered Junior High School Principal to provide instructional leadership and foster a positive, effective learning environment at Lebanon School District. In this role, you’ll lead curriculum planning and implementation, support professional development, supervise staff, oversee school operations, and promote the safety and well-being of students and staff. You’ll work collaboratively with educators, families, students, and community partners to advance school goals and create an environment where every student and staff member can perform at their highest level.

• Establishing and maintaining an effective learning climate focused on student achievement and growth
• Providing strong instructional leadership through curriculum planning, implementation, evaluation, and professional development
• Building supportive relationships with teachers and staff while providing meaningful feedback and performance evaluations
• Implementing programs and initiatives that address the specific needs of the junior high school community
• Promoting a safe, respectful, and supportive school environment through effective behavioral procedures and PBIS
• Building strong partnerships with families, community organizations, and outside agencies to support school objectives

Required Qualifications:

• Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Principal Certification
• Master’s Degree
• At least five years of successful teaching experience
• Three years of administrative or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience in urban schools preferred
• Demonstrated understanding and implementation of educational best practices
