Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Knowledge of the sport and prior coaching or playing experience helpful.
• Ability to work in a team setting and give clear direction.
• Ability to supervise and direct others.
• Willingness to support and work with all student-athletes.
• Knowledge of PIAA rules and policies governing the sport.
• Ability to follow the Blueprint/Action Plan of Muhlenberg School District.
• Clear communication to student athletes, parents, school officials and game officials.
• Collaborate with the High School Head Coach to ensure program philosophy across 7–12.

Preferred

• Prior coaching experience in scholastic basketball
• Bilingual candidates

• Work collaboratively/cooperatively with the High School Head Coach to ensure their philosophy is being carried out throughout the 7-12 program

Interested applicants must have current clearances, Acts 34, 114, 151 and 168 and three professional references.

The successful candidate will be required to participate in all training as required by PIAA.
