Job summary

Athena Technology Group, Inc. (ATG) is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to join our Army team at Ft. Huachuca, AZ. The role focuses on access management, account provisioning, and security controls for DoDIN networks supporting GCC operations.

You will maintain SharePoint groups, track permissions, and ensure compliant access; you will also assist with security training and reporting requirements for contract personnel. ATG values dedicated service and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 0 Years experience
• 4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree
• A+ or Network+ Required
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Customer Service Attitude
• Previous Helpdesk experience, multi-user environments a plus
• Comprehensive understanding of PC Operating Systems

Responsibilities

• Access Management: manage accounts, credentials, badges, and network access; coordinate with Government on expirations.
• Create and maintain SharePoint groups and roles per security policies.
• Support site collection and content management on NETCOM-managed Army DoDIN networks; monitor centrally.
• Track site collection managers and ensure proper permissions for administration tasks.
• Develop and disseminate guides for site collection, web admins, and content managers.
• Ensure hierarchical permissions are in place and maintained to meet mission requirements.
• Draft site/content/web management policies and guides for Government approval.
• Manage certification and training requirements for account/network access and provide monthly reports.
• Log and sanitize unclassified/classified hard drives before turn-in or disposal.
• Support In/Out processing of GCC personnel including accounts, badges, tokens, and keys; report monthly.
