Job summary

The People Of: Professional Services seeks an International Trade Litigation Associate in Tysons, VA. The role targets a junior litigator with 1–3 years of experience to join a nationally recognised litigation team in Northern Virginia.

You will work on government investigations, regulatory enforcement matters, international trade disputes and complex commercial litigation, with exposure to federal district courts and the U.S. Court of International Trade.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of litigation experience at a law firm or government agency.
• Strong legal research and drafting skills.
• Interest in international trade, regulatory enforcement and investigations.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Ability to manage client contact and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support government investigations and regulatory enforcement proceedings
• Handle international trade and customs-related disputes
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs and memoranda
• Assist with written discovery, document review and depositions
• Support witness preparation and case strategy
• Advise domestic and multinational clients on customs and trade-related matters
• Work closely with experienced trial lawyers on domestic and cross-border litigation
