Job summary

Terracon is seeking an entry to mid-level Geologist/Hydrogeologist in Boise, Idaho to support subsurface investigations and environmental assessments. You will evaluate field data, generate maps, and collaborate with engineers and scientists on projects related to earthwork, foundations, and remediation.

Responsibilities include data collection, report preparation, safety protocol adherence, and assisting senior staff on larger projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Hydrogeology is required.
• Driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate subsurface field and sampling data to assess environmental and geologic conditions.
• Generate subsurface maps and cross-sections and collaborate with staff.
• Oversee field monitoring and testing of soils including boring investigations.
• Interpret soil, bedrock and groundwater data.
• Prepare plans and reports for site investigations, assessments and remediation.
• Develop proposals and assist with client communications.
