Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a field-focused environmental professional in Alabama to support CCR site investigations, including soil and groundwater sampling, and monitoring well installation. The role involves planning field programs and coordinating with subcontractors and laboratories.

Qualifications

  • BS in geology, environmental science, environmental engineering, or related field.
  • 0–5 years of relevant experience; consulting preferred.
  • Experience with soil and groundwater sampling and field data collection.
  • Familiarity with environmental data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification or willingness to obtain.

Requirements

  • Experience with soil and groundwater sampling and field data collection (or strong interest in fieldwork)
  • Familiarity with environmental data analysis and reporting
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Willingness to travel and work in field settings
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and client service
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (or willingness to obtain).
