Qualifications

• Hands-on GenAI experience through coursework, projects, internships, or hackathons.
• Familiarity with LLM orchestration concepts (prompt chaining, tool use, retrieval).
• AI tooling is used to write, debug, and learn faster while knowing when to trust it vs verify.
• Curiosity about model evaluation and making LLM systems reliable.
• Collaborative, low-ego mindset to move fast in a startup.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to backend and frontend systems across Abridge.
• Tackle a wide variety of challenges and upskill at a startup operating at scale.
• Collaborate across ML, infrastructure, product, and clinical teams to understand users.
• Develop evaluation pipelines for accuracy, robustness, and reliability.
• Prototype with new models, prompting techniques, and orchestration tools.
• Build and iterate on agentic LLM systems and retrieval pipelines.
• Contribute to monitoring of LLM workflows in production.
• Learn from senior engineers and bring curiosity to problems.
