Abridge is seeking Software Engineering Interns for a 3-month Spring 2027 program in San Francisco, with potential extension. You'll help design and ship AI-powered features for clinical workflows, mentored by engineers and collaborating across product teams.
Current students pursuing CS/SE degrees, with interest in a full-time role in 2027, are encouraged. Office-based work in SF with relocation support is provided.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Passion for pursuing a full-time software engineering role in 2027 with potential return offer.
- Familiarity with AI tooling and a curious, proactive mindset.
Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end features, enhancing existing systems and LLM workflows.
- Fix user-facing bugs and improve backend/frontend quality of life.
- Work with evaluation frameworks for accuracy, robustness, and clinical reliability.
- Prototype with new models, prompting techniques, and orchestration tools like LangChain and LlamaIndex.
- Develop user-centric mindset and empathy for clinicians' challenges.
- Collaborate across design, product, ML, and infra teams to ship features.
- Receive mentorship and collaborate within your pod.
