Job summary

Sterling Labs is seeking a dedicated Air Toxics GCMS Analyst in the United States to support a range of environmental analyses. The role requires a Chemistry background, proficiency with GCMS and laboratory instrumentation, and strong data quality practices.

You will manage sample workflows, maintain instrument readiness, and ensure timely reporting for DoD and environmental clients. Contribute to a culture of safety and integrity while working under SOP guidelines and collaborating with other

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage sample workload to meet reporting deadlines.
• Review results in Sterling Labs’ Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Prepare and assemble containers and canisters for client orders.
• Calibrate instruments accurately per SOPs.
• Build sequence and batch data to maximize instrument run efficiency.
• Communicate workload status and data quality issues to the manager.
