Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing in Stafford, TX is seeking an Analyst II to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard and advanced methods, in compliance with QA programs and SOPs. The analyst will validate data through Level I reviews and upload laboratory data into LIMS to generate data packages for clients.

The role requires knowledge of a broad range of lab equipment, instrumentation operation and maintenance, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years lab experience may substitute for degree.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in routine and complex laboratory procedures and instruments, preferably in a production environment.
• GCMS and FID experience.
• 1 year of experience analyzing organics preferred.
• Previous production-oriented work helpful (meeting deadlines).
• Authorization to work in United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English (read, write, speak).

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory procedures requiring knowledge of scientific methods and testing procedures.
• Operates, calibrates, and maintains laboratory instruments.
• Uploads data into LIMS for review and data package generation.
• Performs Level I review of data for accuracy.
• Maintains logbooks and monitors refrigerator temperatures.
• Maintains housekeeping standards and inventories laboratory supplies.
