Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. seeks a Jr. Software Developer with 2+ years of experience to contribute to tactical systems software on-site at NSWCDD or contractor facilities in Virginia.

The role requires an ACTIVE Secret clearance and US citizenship. You will develop full-stack features using JavaScript, React, Java, Python, C#, C/C++, and .NET within an Agile team. On-site presence 3-4 days/week is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software design and development experience.
• Experience with front-end and back-end technologies.
• Ability to translate requirements into working software in a team.

Responsibilities

• Write, modify, and implement source code for new full-stack applications and expand features within existing codebases.
• Develop end-to-end solutions using both front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React) and back-end languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, C#, C/C++, .NET, NodeJS).
• Partner with cross-functional team members to troubleshoot technical issues, engineer solutions to complex problems, and deliver features in an Agile environment.
• Work with team members and clients to understand functional requirements and replace manual processes with optimized software automation.
• Utilize automated testing tools to write test cases, perform continuous maintenance, and ensure overall system reliability.
