Job summary

SimVentions is a 100% employee-owned company in Virginia seeking a Jr. Software Developer with 2+ years of experience to join our team. This on-site role requires presence at NSWCDD or contractor facility 3-4 days per week and an Active Secret Clearance.

You'll work with front-end and back-end technologies (JavaScript, React, Java, Python, C#, C/C++, .NET, NodeJS) to build full-stack applications, collaborating in an Agile environment and aiming to replace manual processes with automation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years designing, modifying, developing software for tactical systems.
• 2+ years of software development with front-end and back-end stacks.
• Experience writing source code for new applications and enhancing existing code.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance and US citizenship to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Write, modify, and implement source code for full-stack applications.
• Develop end-to-end solutions using front-end (JavaScript, React) and back-end languages/frameworks (Java, Python, C#, C/C++, .NET, NodeJS).
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to troubleshoot issues and deliver features in an Agile environment.
• Work with team members and clients to understand functional requirements and automate processes.
