Job summary

Entertainment Partners is seeking a Junior Full Stack Engineer to join our technology team in Tempe, AZ. This early‑career role focuses on building AI‑powered features and learning through paired code reviews and mentorship from senior engineers.

You will develop frontend components with React.js/TypeScript and implement backend logic in Python/FastAPI, connecting both tiers while following established patterns and standards. A strong learning mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, software eng or equivalent bootcamp/self-taught with demonstrable projects.
• 0–3 years of professional or internship software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript; able to read and contribute to code in both.
• Basic familiarity with React.js; understanding of components, props, and state.
• Understanding of REST APIs: usage and design considerations.
• Experience with Git: branching, commits, PRs, and conflicts.
• Ability to write basic SQL queries and understand relational databases.
• Strong curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to receive feedback constructively.

Responsibilities

• Develop frontend features using React.js/TypeScript and backend in Python/FastAPI.
• Build UI components following the design system and library conventions.
• Write backend logic and REST API endpoints under senior engineers' guidance.
• Connect frontend and backend to understand data flow across the app architecture.
• Follow existing code patterns, style guides, and engineering standards.
• Write unit tests and participate in integration testing with senior teammates.
• Participate in code reviews and learn from feedback.
