Job summary

WHOOP is seeking a frontend software engineer to contribute to high-quality web experiences. You will build responsive UIs with React/TypeScript, work with Product, Design, and Analytics to run experiments, and iterate based on data.

You will write clean, tested code, integrate with RESTful APIs, and help improve performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver member value.

Qualifications

• Frontend development experience with modern JS/TS and React.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
• Experience integrating frontend with RESTful APIs.
• Git version control experience.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative communication.
• Bonus: experience with A/B testing frameworks.
• Fast-paced, experiment-driven environment.
• Clear communication with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive frontend applications powering WHOOP’s web experiences
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Analytics to run experiments and iterate on results
• Write clean, maintainable, tested code using React and modern JS
• Integrate frontend with RESTful APIs and backend services
• Break down features into tasks, identify risks, iterate to deliver value
• Monitor performance, accessibility, and usability across devices/browsers
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
