Job summary

Horizon Media in New York City is seeking a Junior Frontend Software Engineer to develop and maintain modern React-based user interfaces, collaborating with senior engineers to build scalable web applications.

You will work with React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and REST APIs, participate in code reviews, and contribute to an Agile team delivering high quality UI components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1–3 years of professional front-end experience.
• Strong knowledge of React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience consuming REST APIs using Axios or Fetch.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.

Responsibilities

• Front-End Application Development: Develop and maintain modern front-end applications using React.js and TypeScript
• Build reusable, responsive user interface components using HTML5 and CSS3
• Consume REST APIs using Axios or Fetch and display API data within the application
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement new features and enhancements
• Participate in code reviews and Agile development practices
