Job summary

Veracity Insurance is seeking a motivated Junior Financial Analyst Intern - PT to support our FP&A team. You'll gain hands-on experience in financial planning, forecasting, and project-based analysis within a fast-growing, independence-driven company.

You'll collaborate across functions to collect and analyze data, build financial models, and prepare reports for leadership, develop practical finance skills, and contribute to data-driven decision making in a supportive internship environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (or currently in progress).
• 0–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or analytics (internship acceptable).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
• Basic understanding of financial statements and financial concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing financial data to support planning and forecasting activities.
• Support financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Perform project-based financial analysis, including ROI analysis, cost analysis, and performance tracking.
• Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations for leadership review.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to support business initiatives and data‑driven decision-making.
