The role requires a bachelor's degree, EIT or PE, travel to job sites, and proficiency with AutoCAD. Expect about 50% fieldwork and collaboration with senior engineers to deliver practical restoration solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• EIT certification or PE exam completed.
• 1+ years of hands-on field inspection/assessment experience.
• Willingness to travel to job sites and perform fieldwork.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Investigate structural damage from fires, floods, vehicle impacts, foundation movement, and other events.
• Perform hands-on building inspections, document existing conditions, and assess structural integrity.
• Develop engineering recommendations and repair solutions for damaged residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, field notes, photographs, and structural calculations.
• Evaluate wood, steel, concrete, and masonry structures across diverse projects.
• Assist with structural design, repair drawings, and special inspections.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver practical solutions.
• Develop your expertise in forensic investigations, structural assessments, and building restoration.
