Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Fleet Technician to learn and assist with preventive maintenance and repairs on tractors, trailers, and related equipment. The role supports safe, reliable fleet operation and reduces downtime under the guidance of senior technicians.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, two-year truck tech training, and some knowledge of electrical systems. CDL-A is preferred; familiarity with SAP documentation is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2-year truck tech training.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
• Knowledge in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles.
• Learn to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, fuel/ignition systems, brakes and HVAC.
• Document work in SAP and coordinate with maintenance team for road calls.
