Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection or related engineering field.
• Strong written and oral communication to write reports, business correspondence and respond to questions from clients.
• Passion advancing the science of safety and exceeding client expectations.

Aufgaben

• Perform professional-level fire protection engineering services such as life safety code consulting, sprinkler design, fire alarm design under a P.E. or experienced consultant.
• Develop plans, specifications, and inspection reports for assigned tasks.
• Assist in resolving design problems via field investigations, detailed design, and coordination.
• Identify applicable codes and standards for inquiries.
• Conduct basic building code analyses, egress analyses, fire detection and alarm reviews, hydraulic calculations.
• Apply engineering calculations for size, egress, and sprinkler systems.
• Submit progress reports to Project Managers and Leaders.
• Position may involve some CADD document preparation/production.
• Read and interpret professional literature and regulations.
