Job summary

Montcure LLC is seeking a Jr. Financial Management Analyst – Risk Management & Internal Controls in Falls Church, VA. The role focuses on ULO analysis, DAR-Q compliance, and supporting audit readiness to improve financial statement accuracy.

Required is a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and at least 3 years of experience in budget execution, FIAR, or ULO review. On-site position with Secret clearance eligibility and strong Excel skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years in budget execution, FIAR initiatives, or ULO review.
• Strong data analysis, attention to detail, and MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed analysis of Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs) to identify aged, dormant, or invalid balances.
• Execute quarterly Dormant Account Review (DAR-Q) procedures per DoD guidance.
• Validate supporting documentation to determine validity of outstanding obligations.
• Coordinate with contracting officers, resource managers, and program offices to resolve aged obligations.
• Document findings and maintain audit-ready work papers.
• Support auditor requests related to ULO and DAR-Q activities.
