Mission FXStreet is looking for a Financial Journalist with experience in FX and Commodities to write short news pieces for the FXStreet.com news feeds during the Americas trading session. This is a full-time position (8-hour shift) to provide insightful information to forex traders based on fundamental and technical knowledge.

Duties

• Writing short news pieces for the FXStreet.com news feeds
• Providing insightful information to FX traders based on fundamental and technical knowledge
• Staying alert to stories about moving markets

Skills & Desired Background

Technical skills:

• Journalist/Economist background
• Experience in FX and Commodities
• Working knowledge of fundamental and technical analysis
• Knowledge of macroeconomics, central banks and financial markets is desirable, particularly an understanding of how economic data and monetary policy influence asset prices

Soft skills:

• Excellent command of written and spoken English (required)
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced newsroom
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
