Job summary

Fifth Third Bank seeks a Retail Personal Banker I who will complete a 4-8 week onboarding program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service. The role uses a consultative sales process to identify customer financial needs and deepen relationships while handling teller duties.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience in a transferrable role.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Sales aptitude to acquire new consumer households and cross-sell.
• Ability to analyze credit and financial information.
• Professional appearance and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Retail policies and procedures.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration required by employment.

Responsibilities

• Use the consultative sales process to build a customer profile and identify financial needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products and recommend solutions.
• Set appointments for periodic financial reviews using approved tools.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and participate in outside sales activities.
• Collaborate with Business Partners to provide holistic financial solutions.
• Meet customer experience and production goals and drive revenue growth.
• Open/close processes and support the Financial Center or Bank Mart as directed.
